The warmth and attention with which our staff surround you, got translated into the interior design of our 53 rooms and city lofts.

With colors like midnight blue, golden yellow and moss green, just as richly layered as our marine clay, evening sun and coastal forests. With the wonders of a quality of light only found in Zeeland. With the casual elegance of glass, steel and stone. With the congenital markings of wooden floors and handmade oak closets. With surprising yet homely fabrics like leather and felt. And with the respiring greens of plants almost everywhere.

Facilities in all of our rooms & lofts:

All of our rooms have a bathroom with rain shower, sink and hair dryer. You’ll also find a safe that is spacious enough for your laptop and other devices, a fridge, climate control, WiFi and TV. Every room is equipped with a double kingsize boxspring (1m80 x 2m10).

Tiny Oak & Original Elm

Don’t let the name fool you. Our Tiny Oak rooms are great in their cosiness. The rooms have been finished with a lot of love. Right up until the last detail.

When you’re looking for just a few extra square feet, the Original Elm rooms are right for you. Original design, natural materials, spaciousness that fans out around you like… yes, like an elm crown. A perfect shelter from the storm.

Dreaming away is easy here in our king-size, extra long Swiss Sense Premium box springs (1m80 x 2m10). Prefer to stay awake for a while longer? Watching a series, doing some work or catching up is no problem in these easy chairs or love seat. Or do so, sinking into the sea of pillows on your bed. Because your laptop, book or cup of tea won’t topple over thanks to your butler, a handy little over-bed table.

Speaking of tea… you’ll find WOOD thermos cups in the Tiny Oak and Original Elm rooms. Convenient for getting yourself a fresh cup or tea or coffee down in the library, 24/7. Also useful in case you want to bring some to work or on your day out. (Should you get rather attached to thee cups, then you can buy them upon leaving. Makes for a nice souvenir!)

Dogs (max. 1 per room) are allowed in one of our Tiny Oak rooms and some of our Original Elm rooms, which are all located in the souterrain of the hotel. There is a surcharge of € 19.50/night. Deluxe Fig & Family Fig

These rooms don’t need any fig leaves whatsoever. Everything about the Deluxe Fig rooms deserves to be seen! The Figs bring the openness of our regional landscapes back inside: lots of space to breathe and move, lots of daylight streaming in.

No problems falling asleep, then, in our king-size, extra long Swiss Sense Premium box springs (1m80 x 2m10). Honestly, though, the armchairs and couch are so comfortable you might risk dozing off on those, too. Not very handy in case you still need to work or focus, so in most of the rooms we’ve arranged for a proper desk—if you’d like one, please ask us when booking! Would you rather sink into a sea of pillows on your bed? Then your laptop, magazine or cup of coffee is safe on your butler, a handy little over-bed table.

Speaking of coffee… With your own coffee drip and kettle, you’ll enjoy a cup in an instant. At the front desk, they’ll get you a jar with some freshly ground coffee from the local Koepoort coffee roastery. More of a tea person? There’ll be some nice varieties waiting for you in your room.

The rarest treasures are often found under the attic beams. An attic this cosy, daylight-ridden as well as dust-free is even rarer. Find out for yourself when entering the City Loft.

Our king-size, extra long Swiss Sense Premium box springs (1m80 x 2m10) ensure a good night’s rest. For your waking hours you can count on comfy armchairs, a love seat or a seat at your desk. Maybe you’d like to put on one of the records that come with the room’s little record player? Relaxing in the abundance of pillows and other fluffiness on the bed, that’s nice too. And no worries, because with your butler – a handy over-bed table – everything you may need remains within hand’s reach.

Tea and coffee, too, for that matter: you can make those with your own kettle, fresh tea and coffee drip. At the front desk, they will provide you with freshly ground coffee from the local Koepoort coffee roastery!

All that is good comes from above, people say. WOOD’s best rooms are found on the top floor, that’s true. In the Jacuzzi Loft you’ll have more than enough room for a little dance. The freestanding jacuzzi under the pitched roof? That’s the cherry on the loft.

Your king-size, extra long Swiss Sense Premium box springs (1m80 x 2m10) are so comfortable you might just want to take them home. Not just the beds, the abundance of soft pillows, pretty spreads and the handy butler (a little over-bed table), too. The cosy windowsill lounge or desk meet all of your expectations when it comes to comfort, looks and feels. The tiny record player adds even more charm. And thanks to a fresh cup of coffee or tea – prepared with your own kettle, coffee drip and locally roasted coffee or tea – you’d almost forget about the buzzing Middelburg streets and squares.

In the Jacuzzi loft with terrace you will find everything you need under one roof, including a beautiful view of the city center. In this way you can see at a glance what makes Middelburg so special.
