Cityhotel Wood offers several possibilities to rent bikes. Whether you have a short ride through the city in mind or a bike ride on the island of Walcheren; there is something for everyone!

Share bikes in Middelburg

In the centre of Middelburg there are several possibilities to use a shared bike. Also in front of our hotel these part time bikes are waiting for you. You can use these bicycles for € 0.40 per 30 minutes. The bicycles have a so-called 'smart lock' that you can open and close with the 'GoAbout-app'. When signing up, you can choose to pay per ride or take out a subscription.

The 'GoAbout-app' shows the exact locations of the shared bikes in the Netherlands. At this moment the following locations in Middelburg have shared bikes:

Cycling in Zeeland

Zeeland is ideal for a longer cycling tour. As a 5-star cycling province, the province offers you a good junction system and plenty of facilities along the way. From Middelburg you can quickly cycle to the coastal towns of Domburg and Zoutelande, but cycling to Veere is also wonderful.

We rent bikes for € 15,- per day. A little more comfort? Then book one of our e-bikes for € 25,- per day.
By renting a bike or e-bike you support our tree project. We donate an amount of € 1,50 to the Tree Fund.

Passers-by

If you are not staying at the hotel, you can also rent our bicycles. In this case, we will register your address and contact details and we will make a copy of a valid identity document (driving license is also allowed). In addition to the bicycle rental, a deposit of 100,- per bicycle and 150,- per eBike is retained. This may be settled with a credit card authorization, a cash deposit or with a debit card deposit. In case of a debit card transaction, the amount will be refunded to your bank account within 3 days after the return of the bicycles.
